Alex heads back to Mantanani with MRF Scientist Jonathan to learn all about remote aerial surveying and how to fly a drone. Alex reconnects with the team from Reefcheck Malaysia and sees first hand how plastic pollution is threatening the marine environment and what the island community of Mantanani are doing to tackle it. Finally Alex joins the Reefcheck team as they dive beneath the waves to carry out coral reef and fish surveys around the island .
